Remote Rescue is a privately owned and operated company specializing in teaching Wilderness First Responder courses for certification. We also offer a variety of more basic wilderness first aid and rescue classes for many levels of interest. We pride ourselves on offering up-to-date, comprehensive classes that focus on understanding rather than memorization and meet rigorous industry standards. We strongly believe in the value of hands-on learning and practicing scenarios, techniques that are used in all of our classes.
Remote Rescue is known for specializing and customizing our courses in a way that allows students to get the most out of each class – there are no generic, one-size-fits-all courses here! We teach many of the Wilderness First Responder courses for river outfitters on the Colorado River through Grand Canyon as well as other river outfitters throughout the United States. Both amateur outdoor enthusiasts as well as professional guides as will find courses and personalized instruction to fit their needs. Remote Rescue classes have been taught everywhere from the bottom of the Grand Canyon to Bali, Indonesia and our cards are accepted all over the world.
